Wheel alignment, sometimes referred to as tracking part of standard car maintenance that consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are set to the manufacturer's specification. The purpose of these adjustments is to reduce tyre wear, to ensure that vehicle travel is straight and true (without "pulling" to one side) and this will affect how the tyres make contact with the road.
Tracking is usually just the adjustment of the front wheels by adjusting the steering rack control rods. Full wheel alignment is the adjustment of all four wheels, but many vehicles do not have rear adjustment.
There are a couple ways to tell if your car needs a Wheel alignment. If you've noticed one or more of these indicators, you should have your alignment checked.
With the Hunter Elite TD alignment system we can measure your vehicle and adjust it to the correct specifications this will improve fuel efficiency & reduce tyre wear.
We will measure your car for free, if it does need adjustment we charge £30 to adjust the front, the rear is £20 each adjustment. If we measure your car and no adjustments are needed its free, however if it needs adjustment but you do not have it corrected we charge £10.
